In addition, there will also be ‘Vincent van Gogh: Eye of a Genius’, an exhibition that spans the life of this great artist. Beginning from his very first days as an artist in Holland, to the final months of his life spent in Auvers-sur-Oise in the north of France, these works present a visual journey through the artist’s short yet legendary career. From his astonishing virtuosity as a draughtsman to his revolutionary skill as a colourist, Van Gogh forged a new means of artistic expression that still continues to influence artists today.
