26th March 2024 – (Hong Kong) The car boot sale, organised by CHKC, is making a comeback this year as part of the city’s Arts Month festivities. The CHKC Car Boot Eco-Art Fair promises to deliver a delightful blend of art and sustainability, offering a captivating and enjoyable way for friends and families to spend their weekends and public holidays.

Similar to last year’s Christmas event, the CHKC Car Boot Eco-Art Fair will feature a range of pop-up booths where vendors sell their wares directly from the trunks of their cars. This distinctive market experience provides a platform for aspiring young creatives to showcase their artistic talents and explore entrepreneurship. Visitors attending the fair will have the opportunity to peruse unique artworks while also indulging in delectable gourmet food from a selection of culinary stalls—a feast for both the eyes and taste buds, perfect for capturing Instagram-worthy moments.

The CHKC Car Boot Art Fair goes beyond a conventional art market. It incorporates interactive activities that encourage active participation from attendees. Renowned artists will be on hand to dazzle audiences with live art demonstrations, utilizing the exteriors of vehicles as dynamic canvases for captivating street art. Witness the transformation of cars into magnificent works of art, contributing to the vibrant urban landscape of Hong Kong.

In addition to the art-centric attractions, the fair will also host a variety of Easter-themed games and activities, fostering a festive atmosphere for families to come together and celebrate the holidays. Local artists will guide participants in breathing new life into old objects, promoting the concept of upcycling and encouraging everyone to embrace an eco-conscious lifestyle while nurturing their creative instincts.

The CHKC Car Boot Eco-Art Fair will take place from 29th March to 1st April, as well as on 1st May, 4th May and 5th May. Operating hours will be from 3pm to 9pm. The venue for this exciting event is the China Hong Kong City Dolphin Pool Platform Garden, located at 33 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.
