The Chinese New Year fireworks display will take place on 6th February 2019 at 8pm in conjunction with the Symphony of Lights. It is a major event to usher in the new year for the Chinese community and to celebrate the Year of the Pig. The fireworks display is estimated to last for 25 minutes.
There is no admission charge, you can watch from any waterfront near the Victoria Harbour.
The Avenue of Stars which connects with the Victoria Harbour promenade is probably the best location to view the fireworks display. Be sure to go there early as thousands of visitors are expected to throng the area. Alternatively, you can also go to Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai or the IFC Tower as both are good vantage points.
