18th March 2023 – (Shanghai) Chinese actor Mark Huang Xiaoming, known for his youthful looks, has recently attracted attention regarding his romantic life following his divorce from Angelababy (Yeung Wing). Rumours have surfaced that Huang was seen introducing his alleged girlfriend, a wealthy woman, to his parents, sparking widespread interest.
However, the 45-year-old actor has also been subject to speculation about his hairline receding. Netizens have shared clips from Huang’s appearance on a reality show pointing out a difference in colour between his scalp and the ends of his hair, leading to conjecture that he may be wearing a toupee.
A hair stylist has since come forward to dispel these rumours, revealing that they have personally cut Huang’s hair and confirming that his hair is indeed real. They added that the actor’s hair is naturally fine and soft, which may have contributed to the misunderstanding.
Huang made his relationship with Angelababy public on 28th February 2014. The couple registered their marriage with Qingdao Civil Affairs Authority on 27 May 2015, and their grand wedding was held in October of the same year at Shanghai Exhibition Centre. On the occasion of their first anniversary, Huang announced Angelababy’s pregnancy on Weibo, and their son was born on 17th January 2017 in Hong Kong.
Huang’s second cousin, Chen Meng, is a world-renowned female table tennis player and currently holds the number one ranking. They are related through their paternal grandmothers, who were sisters.
In a joint statement on 28th January 2022, Huang and Angelababy announced their decision to divorce.
