However, a 7-minute video clip recorded by NOW TV shows that at 4.11am, senior police officers including Yau allegedly met up with several elderly people dressed in white inside a temple in Yuen Long before the media interview.

There is no evidence to show that the men in white spotted in the temple were related to the brutal attack at Yuen Long MTR Station that took part on 21st July. The meeting could be an emergency meeting between local villagers and police officers after the attack in Yuen Long.

The following is the video uploaded by an unknown netizen. Clip between 1.00 to 1.54 exposed the alleged meeting between police officers and men in white. The sequence of events that took place was compiled by the netizen and they might be isolated and unrelated to each other.

NOW TV has also not confirmed if the clip was censored because of pressure from police. Netizens and civilians made the accusations based on their assumption as the meeting details in the temple were not known.
