26th May 2023 – (Hong Kong) Summer is almost here, and what better way to celebrate than with a two-day music festival on the beach? Dubbed as Hong Kong’s first-ever beach carnival, The Next Wave promises to be an unforgettable event that you wouldn’t want to miss.

Organized by Yau Wing Culture and Nextwave Yachting, the festival will feature more than 20 singers and full DJ performances from different music genres. But the fun doesn’t stop there. There will be over 30 lifestyle brands, 40 yachts, 70 VIP sections, and food and dining options to keep festival-goers entertained throughout the day.

The venue for the event has not been disclosed yet, but organizers have teased that it will be “bigger than the Hong Kong Stadium,” with a capacity of over 10,000 people per day. The event is expected to draw more than 30,000 attendees over the course of two days.

What’s more, there will be a large-scale sea park complete with rowing boats and yachts for rent, in addition to other water-related activities. Festival-goers can expect a summer beach extravaganza for friends and families.

To add to the excitement, The Next Wave has partnered with more than 30 luxury lifestyle brands, offering a range of activities, including art performances, and a variety of delicious food and drinks.

The event will take place in July, and ticket details will be released soon. The organiser has revealed that the festival will span over two days, with eight hours of entertainment per day. With such an impressive lineup and exciting activities, The Next Wave is poised to become Hong Kong’s biggest beach party yet.
