Car deliberately crashes into a sushi shop in Yuen Long


15th September 2021 – (Hong Kong) At 3am in the morning today (15th), a private car was driving near Yan Lok Square in Yuen Long. After turning into Kau Yuk Road, it lurched forward about 20 metres onto the pedestrian pavement and crashed into a sushi restaurant.

The driver then abandoned the private car and another motorcyclist picked him up to flee the scene.

The police arrived at the scene and contacted the person in charge of the shop to assist in the investigation. The person in charge said that the shop did not owed debt and did not understand the culprit’s motives for committing the crime. The two men involved in the case, one of whom was about 1.7 metres tall, was wearing black clothes and a green helmet at the time of the crime, and the other was wearing an orange shirt and black pants.
