10th June 2023 – (Hong Kong) A car accident occurred at the intersection of Tai Tam Road and Shek O Road this morning at 11.38am. It is suspected that the driver lost control of the vehicle and flipped it over, blocking the road. Witnesses who passed by the scene of the accident reported that the occupants of the car were unable to free themselves from the overturned vehicle and required assistance.
Emergency services, including firefighters and paramedics, were quickly dispatched to the scene to rescue the occupants of the car. The cause of the accident and the extent of the injuries sustained by the occupants are currently unknown.
As a result of the accident, part of the roadway at the intersection of Tai Tam Road and Shek O Road has been closed to traffic. Drivers are advised to use the remaining lanes and to expect heavy traffic in the area.
