‘Captain America’ arrested for gathering alone at YOHO Mall to shout slogans


22nd October 2020 – (Hong Kong) The Yuen Long 21st July incident entered 15 months today yesterday, and some netizens launched a gathering in YOHO Mall to commemorate the incident. At 6 o’clock in the evening, no one gathered in the mall, and several police cars stopped outside the mall. By 7pm the scene was still very deserted, and only one protester who was known as the Captain America as he often appeared in costume during protests, turned up.

He was interviewed by media reporters and shouted “Liberate Hong Kong, Revolution of the Times” and other slogans. Afterwards, a large number of uniformed police officers entered the mall and pulled up the orange cordon. The police officers then arrested him. The police continued to patrol the mall afterwards.
