16th August 2022 – (Hong Kong) In November last year, pro-democracy and anti-government activist and businessman Herbert Chow, who runs the local Chickeeduck clothing chain announced that all its physical stores will be closed in the second half of 2022. Only the Tin Hau branch may remain as a museum and the online store will continue to operate.
Chickeeduck posted on its social media page yesterday stating that its Chickeeduck pro-democracy retail shop in Tin Hau will also close its business in accordance with the expiry of its lease agreement. The store will close in late November. Chickeeduck thanked the public for their support, and pointed out that they have been facing many obstacles, but they still insist on operating, and it hopes to continue to provide products with commemorative value to the public. The 3 Chickeeduck pro-democracy retail shops are currently located in Causeway Bay, Tin Hau and Tsuen Wan.

Chow revealed that there was a problem with supply, and he also said that he would investigate as to the party who disrupted his supplies from Mainland and Indonesia.
