28th August 2026 – (Hong Kong) Grammy-winning artist Bruno Mars is set to make his highly anticipated return to Hong Kong after almost a decade, with four concerts scheduled at Kai Tak Stadium in May 2027. Organisers announced that Mars, whose full name is Peter Gene Hernandez, will perform on the 7th, 8th, 11th and 12th of May next year as part of his ongoing global itinerary for The Romantic Tour, which commenced in April 2026 and features more than one hundred and fifteen stadium appearances across the world.
The performances will be Mars’ first in Hong Kong since his two-night stint at AsiaWorld-Expo in May 2018, and will mark his debut at Hong Kong’s state-of-the-art Kai Tak Stadium, a venue with a fifty thousand capacity that opened in March 2025. The Hong Kong shows form part of an extended Asian leg that will also take the celebrated singer-songwriter to major cities such as Singapore, Bangkok, Kaohsiung, Manila and Goyang. This leg of the tour is expected to draw fans from across the region.
Anderson .Paak, Mars’ bandmate from the acclaimed Silk Sonic project, will join as special guest DJ Pee .Wee for all dates in the city, promising a mix of new material and signature hits. Audiences can expect to hear songs from Mars’ fourth solo album The Romantic, alongside classics such as “24K Magic”, “That’s What I Like”, “Locked Out of Heaven” and his global smash “Uptown Funk” with Mark Ronson.
Ticket sales will open with an artist presale on 23rd September at 12 noon, running in parallel with a Live Nation members presale and priority access through Trip.com. General sales begin on 24th September, while ticket prices are set to start from $799, with further details including seating plans to be released in due course. The concerts are forecast to be among the most anticipated live music events in the city for 2027, given Mars’ huge popularity and the scale of the new stadium venue.
