29th March 2023 – (Hong Kong) A video clip circulating on social media shows two men engaged in a heated argument outside a shopping mall in Tin Shui Wai, allegedly due to a collision between the two. The incident quickly escalated into a physical altercation, with verbal insults and punches exchanged between the two men.
The slimmer man, who was wearing a mask, can be seen hurling insults at his opponent, calling him a “delivery guy” and mocking him for being at the bottom of the food chain. He even lowered his mask and spat at the other man, further fuelling the dispute. In response, the other man delivered a powerful slap to his face, leading to a full-blown fight.
As the brawl continued, the courier delivered a flurry of punches while the mask-wearing man struggled to defend himself. Eventually, the mask-wearing man fell to the ground, where he laid down his backpack and prepared to engage in a face-to-face confrontation.
A passer-by, who happened to be recording the incident, offered his help and confirmed that the mask-wearing man had initiated the altercation. He also stated that he had captured the entire event on video as evidence.
The courier continued to attack his opponent, using a combination of straight punches and wrestling moves to subdue him. As the two men wrestled on the ground, a crowd gathered around them, with onlookers attempting to break up the fight and separate the two men.
The passer-by who was recording the incident spoke out again, accusing the mask-wearing man of being responsible for the altercation and for causing a scene in the area. He also called him out for attempting to incite violence against the courier.
After several minutes of fighting, the courier managed to subdue his opponent, holding him down and rendering him helpless. As more onlookers gathered around them, the courier decided to call off the fight, and both men eventually walked away from the scene.
The passer-by who had been recording the incident praised the courier for his self-control, adding that he had been impressed by his ability to stay calm under pressure. Meanwhile, the mask-wearing man, who had been the aggressor in the altercation, walked away with a bruised ego and a few scrapes and bruises.
