Ben Stiller’s father, Jerry passes away at 92 from natural causes


11th May 2020 – (New York) Ben Stiller, the Zoolander star announced via his Twitter account that his father had passed away on yesterday at 92 years old “from natural causes”.

The US comic’s passing was confirmed by his son Ben Stiller, who wrote on Twitter: “I’m sad to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, passed away from natural causes. He was a great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to Anne for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad.”

He spent many years in the comedy team Stiller and Meara with his wife, Anne Meara. He later played George Costanzas’ father Frank, on the NBC sitcom Seinfeld and Arthur Spooner on the CBS comedy series The King of Queens.[1] Stiller and Meara are the parents of actor Ben Stiller, with whom Stiller co-starred in the films ZoolanderHeavyweightsHot PursuitThe Heartbreak Kid and Zoolander 2.
