Bars, karaoke, swimming pools and theme parks to open this Friday, dine-in services to be extended to midnight, gathering ban to maintain, sources


15th September 2020 – (Hong Kong) The COVID-19 epidemic has eased in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong government has revealed last week that if the epidemic does not reverse sharply, it will further relax its epidemic prevention measures. It is understood that the Hong Kong Government will reopen the remaining unopened listed premises such as bars, karaoke, swimming pools and theme parks this Friday (18th).

Catering premises can also extend dine-in services to 12 midnight, but gathering ban of 4 will still maintain.

The government will make announcement with regards to the new social distancing measures this afternoon in a media conference.
