Art show/auction previews happening in Hong Kong this weekend

General Admission tickets to the Asia Contemporary Art Show are available for purchase from the Conrad Hong Kong Lobby effective from today. Tickets ($270 per person, 15% discount if you pay by UnionPay credit card) include a complimentary drink, plus multiple access all day Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

On show will be more than 2,000 unique works of art presented across 85 art living spaces, including original paintings, limited editions, sculpture and photography from some of the world’s most interesting and promising artists – from emerging and mid-career artists, to those who have already achieved recognition in private and public collections, and at auction.

In March 2018, Sotheby’s launched Panorama: A New Perspective, a selling exhibition of paintings and sculpture highlighting some of the most original and influential artists of the 19th and 20th centuries. This weekend, Sotheby’s presents their second season of Panorama: A New Perspective. Featuring seminal works spanning over 150 years, this exhibition traces the aesthetic development of Modern Art throughout Europe to the United States, and towards the Contemporary abstract art which remains informed by its predecessors.
