Around 100 protesters gather at Edinburgh Place in Central before marching towards Government Headquarters to object to use of tear gas


1st December 2019 – (Hong Kong) Around 100 protesters gathered at Edinburgh Place in Central at 10am today to object against the use of tear gas against children by police. They marched towards Government Headquarters while shouting ‘No More Tear Gas’ and other slogans. Only several minors were seen in the rally.

Some of them were carrying American flags as they walked along Tamar Park at 11.15am.

The second ‘United States protests Hong Kong’ march will be held at Chater Garden at 12.30pm later. Protesters will start to march from Chater Garden to Consulate General of the United States before returning to Chater Garden.
