24th March 2025 – (Beijing) Apple announced on Monday the establishment of a new clean energy fund in China, valued at 720 million yuan. This announcement coincided with a visit to Beijing by the company’s chief executive, Tim Cook.
In a statement, Apple indicated that the fund is intended to enhance its clean energy initiatives within the country. This initiative forms part of the company’s broader commitment to transition its supply chain to 100 percent renewable energy by 2030, reflecting Apple’s ongoing efforts to address climate change and promote sustainability in its operations.
