8th September 2022 – (Cupertino) Apple on Wednesday announced the second generation of AirPods Pro with the new H2 chip.
The new AirPods Pro upgraded active noise cancellation and transparency mode. Customers can use Touch control for media playback and volume adjustments directly from the stem, along with longer battery life, a new charging case, and an additional ear tip size for a better fit, the company said.
The power of the new H2 chip provides an exceptional acoustic experience and cancels up to twice as much noise over the previous generation AirPods Pro, according to Apple.
The new AirPods Pro will be available to order online and in the Apple Store app starting Sept. 9, with availability in stores beginning Sept. 23.
Apple on Wednesday also introduced Apple Watch Series 8 and the new Apple Watch SE.
Apple Watch Series 8 features a large, Always-On Retina display and a strong crack-resistant front crystal with 18-hour battery life.
The new Apple Watch SE delivers the core Apple Watch experience, including Activity tracking, high and low heart rate notifications, and Emergency SOS, as well as the new Crash Detection feature and a redesigned back case that matches the three classic case finishes, all at a price of 249 U.S. dollars.
Both models are powered by watchOS 9, introducing new and more customizable watch faces like Lunar and Metropolitan, an enhanced Workout app, sleep stages and an all-new Medications app.
Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch SE are available to order on Wednesday, with availability beginning on 16th September.
