22nd February 2020 – (Hong Kong) A 96-year-old woman was tested positive for COVID-19. She was admitted to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital for treatment. Including this case, total tally in Hong Kong reached 70. The patient lives with family members at Fly Dragon Terrace on Tin Hau Temple, Causeway Bay. She has no travel history and she has chronic heart disease. She gathered with 20-30 people at a Buddhist temple in Maylun Apartments in North Point at the end of January. The 65th patient might also have gone to the same place for worship.

At 10.20pm today, sources confirmed that another 76-year-old woman was also tested positive for COVID-19 in a preliminary test. She was admitted to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital today and she has also visited the Buddhist temple in North Point. She may become the 71st confirmed case in Hong Kong. Another 80-year-old woman who visited the Buddhist temple in North Point was also tested positive tonight at Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital.

Meanwhile, a 68-year-old Hong Kong passenger who disembarked from Diamond Princess was admitted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He was diagnosed with COVID-19 in a preliminary test.
