5th December 2024 – (Taipei) Beijing-based Amber Kuo, the 38-year-old Taiwanese actress and singer, recently made headlines with her sudden return to Taiwan. Kuo, who was previously linked romantically to Hong Kong actor Louis Koo during the filming of “Paris Holiday” in 2015, has since shifted her focus to her career in Mainland China and is now based in Beijing. Despite the buzz surrounding their alleged romance, both actors denied any relationship at the time.
During her recent visit, Kuo took the opportunity to register her presence at a marriage registration office, where she shared a photo and heartfelt message. She expressed joy at witnessing her long-time partner Emma, whom she has known for 26 years, find a lifelong companion. Kuo wrote, “In the moment of signing as a witness, I sealed an eternal blessing with a kiss.”
Amber’s visit was primarily to attend her close friend Emma’s wedding, where she served as a witness. In addition to the wedding, Kuo spent quality time with friends, strolling and chatting around Taipei. Before leaving, she remarked, “Taipei, you are my most enriching source of human connection; being awake here is more wonderful than sleeping.”
