All Tropical Cyclone Signals cancelled at 6.20pm

10th August 2022 – (Hong Kong) All Tropical Cyclone Signals by Hong Kong Observatory were cancelled at 6.20pm.

Tropical Cyclone Mulan will move across the vicinity of Beibu Wan today and tomorrow. It will enter into the inland areas of Vietnam and weaken gradually but its outer rainbands will still bring squally showers and thunderstorms to the northern part of the South China Sea and the coast of Guangdong. There will be swells. A broad trough of low pressure will continue to bring showers to the northern part of the South China Sea in the latter part of this week. The anticyclone aloft is expected to strengthen slightly early next week and the weather will improve over southeastern China. An upper-air disturbance will bring showers to the coast of southern China again midweek next week. Besides, the tropical cyclone over the western North Pacific will move towards the vicinity of Honshu of Japan in the next couple of days.
