All Macao residents to take daily RAT on 29th and 30th June

28th June 2022 – (Macao) A new wave of COVID-19 epidemic has appeared in Macao on the 18th of this month. After three rounds of universal testing, more than 400 confirmed cases have been found so far (28th). The Macao Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre  announced in the evening that all residents must take a rapid antigen test (RAT) daily in the next two days (29th and 30th). If the results are not reported, the health code will be converted to yellow. The Centre said that after residents tested and interpret the results themselves, they must upload the test results to the official government platform. If the RAT results are not reported tomorrow, the health code will be turned into yellow two days later.

Those with yellow code can undergo Nucleic acid testing at their own expense to change their health codes back to green. If the test result is positive, the health code will be changed to red.

If the result of the declaration is incorrect, it must be re-declared as soon as possible. As for those whose health code has been changed to a yellow or red due to a wrong declaration of address recently, they can click “Apply for Removal of Red/Yellow Code” through the online consultation and help platform.
