AFCD officers cull 2 more wild boars in North Point this evening

30th November 2021 – (Hong Kong) Since 6.30pm today, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department once again mobilised a team to cull wild boars at the Pak Fuk Road Recreation Ground in North Point.

The department said at about 10pm, the operation had captured and culled two adult wild boars. Officers successfully captured two adult wild boars, one female and one male, measuring 145 cm and 97 cm in length, and weighing 67 and 26 kg respectively. The operation was completed at 9pm. The veterinarian first injected anaesthetic to capture the wild boars before culling them. Many civilians were angered by the action and they scorned the officers before they left.
