1st October 2023 – (Hong Kong) At 5.04pm yesterday, a somber incident unfolded at Jat Min Chuen in Sha Tin. It was reported that a man was discovered lying unconscious near Ming Shun Lau, indicating a suspected fall from a significant height. Upon receiving the emergency call, paramedics swiftly arrived at the scene and transported the individual to Prince of Wales Hospital for medical treatment. Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that the man passed away.
Law enforcement officials conducted an initial investigation into the incident and revealed that the 71-year-old man, identified as Mr. Lau, was a resident in the building. It is believed that he fell from within the premises. Authorities discovered a farewell note at the scene, and the exact cause of death is pending confirmation following a post-mortem examination. It has been revealed that Mr. Lau had a medical history of physical ailments.
