7-seater vehicle collides with taxi in Hung Hom, one injury reported and one driver arrested


29th May 2022 – (Hong Kong) At about 12am today (29th), a seven-seater vehicle was travelling along Hung Hom Road and collided with a taxi exiting from Bailey Street. The fronts of the two vehicles were damaged. The air bag was ejected, and the taxi driver was injured but no one in the seven-seater vehicle was injured.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and sent the taxi driver (73 years old) to the hospital for treatment. The male driver of the seven-seater vehicle surnamed Wong (51 years old) stayed at the scene to assist in the investigation. However, he failed the police breathalyser test. After investigation, he was arrested and the police are further investigating the cause of the accident.
