67-year-old worker suffers from heatstroke and dies during landscape planting in Tuen Mun


24th June 2022 – (Hong Kong) At about 2pm today (24th), the police received a report that a middle-aged outsourced worker was suspected of suffering from heatstroke during  landscape planting  on a hillside in the Tai Lam section of Castle Peak Road, Tuen Mun. He soon fell into a coma. Rescuers immediately rushed the victim, surnamed Wong(67 years old), to Tuen Mun Hospital for emergency treatment, but he was eventually certified dead. The cause of death is to be determined by an autopsy. After the incident, the Labour Department sent personnel to the scene to investigate.
