26th May 2023 – (Hong Kong) A woman in Botania Villa 138, Fuk Hang Tsuen Road, Lam Tei, made a frantic call to the police at around 6pm yesterday after discovering that her 64-year-old husband was missing. Worried about his safety, she reported the incident to the rescue team. Upon arrival at 7.30pm, they discovered the woman’s husband unconscious and hanging from the ceiling in the clubhouse basement of the residential complex. The emergency team quickly removed him from the noose and transported him to Tuen Mun Hospital for treatment, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at 8.30pm.
Further investigations revealed that the woman’s 66-year-old husband had allegedly attempted to murder their 39-year-old daughter, who suffers from a brain disease, by suffocating her with a plastic bag. The daughter was rescued by her mother, who intervened and stopped the attempted murder. She was then transported to the hospital by ambulance and is currently receiving treatment.
