6-feet long python captured in Causeway Bay


17th August 2022 – (Hong Kong) At around 12.30pm today, a passerby was walking by No. 111 Victoria Park Road, Causeway Bay, and found a python about 7 meters high on a tree beside the road. The passerby immediately reported to the police for help. The firefighters and the snake catcher arrived successively. The firefighters used bamboo sticks to drive the snake to a lower position before setting up an iron ladder for the snake catcher to climb up to capture the snake.

It is reported that the snake is a Burmese python with a length of about 6 feet. There was no injury on the snake and it was taken away to the relevant department for inspection.
