30th November 2022 – (Hong Kong) At 2.27a. today (30th), a man fell from the top of Block 8, Phase 2 of Belvedere Garden in Tsuen Wan. The security guard heard a loud noise and found a man surnamed Ho (54 years old) lying unconscious on the canopy. He immediately called the police for help. Rescuers arrived at the scene, but the man who fell from the building was still conscious and was escorted to the hospital by a female relative. After preliminary investigation, the police believe that the victim fell from a unit in the building. No suicide note was found at the scene and the cause of his fall is being investigated. It is reported that the man who fell from the building was suspected to have contracted the COVID-19 recently and was emotionally unstable. The paramedics put on full protective equipment when they took the victim to the hospital.
