9th June 2023 – (Hong Kong) In a bid to combat street prostitution, law enforcement officers in the Wong Tai Sin district conducted a crackdown operation this afternoon, based on a tip-off and prior investigation.
During the operation, officers arrested a 53-year-old woman surnamed Wu from mainland China on Tseuk Luk Street. Wu was suspected of “soliciting others for immoral purposes” and “violating the conditions of stay.” In addition, officers searched a residential unit and found a batch of evidence, including condoms and towels. The arrested person is currently under detention for further investigation.
