5 trustees of now-defunct “612 Humanitarian Relief Fund” convicted for failure to apply for registration of society


25th November 2022 – (Hong Kong) The five trustees of the now-defunct “612 Humanitarian Relief Fund”, including singer Denise Ho, former bishop Joseph Zen, barrister Margaret Ng, scholar Hui Po-keung, and former Legislative Council member Cyd Ho, together with the secretary of the fund, Sze Ching-wee each denied one count of failing to apply for registration or exemption from registration of a society within the specified time limit from 16th July 2019 to 31st October 2021 and they were convicted today (25th) at West Kowloon Magistrates’ Courts.
