43-year-old man confirmed as the 51st COVID-19 case in Hong Kong


13th February 2020 – (Hong Kong) The latest coronavirus case in Hong Kong is a 51-year-old man who works in the same Peking Garden Restaurant  as the 37th 55-year-old female patient who contracted the virus during the hotpot gathering at Lento Party Room in Kwun Tong on 10th February. The patient has good past health and lives in On Tao House, Cheung On Estate, Tsing Yi. He developed fever since 3rd February and he was tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday. The patient had no travel history during the incubation period. His close contact, namely his younger sister, has developed symptoms and will be transferred to hospital for isolation and treatment.

According to sources, a 43-year-old man has become the 51st patient today and he is the relative to another infected patient who lives in Leung Tin Village, Tuen Mun. He was tested positive at Tuen Mun Hospital.
