4 vehicles collide on Tsing Long Highway, at least 8 injuries reported

24th March 2023 – (Hong Kong) At around 8.35am, two private cars, a tour bus, and a medium-sized truck collided on the Tsing Long Highway towards Kowloon, Hong Kong. The incident has reportedly caused injuries to at least eight people on board the vehicles. Five ambulances have been dispatched to the scene to provide rescue and medical assistance, and updates on the accident and victims’ conditions are still underway.

Following the unfortunate collision, the Transport Department has announced the closure of a section of the westbound lanes near North West Tsing Yi Interchange towards Kowloon. This has caused traffic diversions and congestions in the area. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes or the remaining open lanes to ease traffic flow.
