28th January 2023 – (Hong Kong) In the early morning of the fourth day of the Lunar New Year (25th January), clashes broke out in a bar location in The Centrium at 50, Wyndham Street in Lan Kwai Fong. A 39-year-old male victim claimed that he was assaulted by more than 10 men and was hospitalised with multiple injuries. The group of men had argued with another party earlier before engaging in a feud with the victim. They also claimed to be members of triad. Two other friends of the victim were also injured. The bouncer in the bar did not call the police on their behalf and the victim’s friend had to make a report to the police after leaving the bar. The victim sustained head and nose injuries. The case is being investigated by Western District police.
