36-year-old local woman jumps to her death in Quarry Bay

19th June 2024 – (Hong Kong) Around 5.40am today, a woman, dressed in sleepwear, was discovered unconscious on the road opposite Quarry Bay Market and Cooked Food Centre. It is suspected that she fell from a t height, prompting passersby to report the incident. Upon arrival, paramedics conducted an examination and tragically confirmed the victim’s immediate demise. The woman’s head had suffered a devastating blow, leading to the rupture of her skull and the spilling of brain matter, some of which splattered onto the door of a nearby taxi.

Police shielded the body from public view as they commenced their investigation. Initial findings suggest that the victim, identified as a 36-year-old woman surnamed Sze, fell from the rooftop of Montane Mansion, located at 1028 King’s Road. No suicide note was discovered at the scene, and the exact cause of her death is pending further examination through a post-mortem process.
