9th June 2021 – (Hong Kong) 4 imported COVID-19 cases were reported in Hong Kong today. The four imported cases include a 32-year-old man (Case No.11870) who arrived from Lebanon with symptoms. He stayed at the BEST WESTERN Plus Hotel in Sai Ying Pun during incubation period. The other three are from Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Austria. All three of them were asymptomatic.
The man who arrived from Lebanon had received two doses of Sinovac vaccine on 3rd April and 1st May. On 5th June, he took Emirates flight no. EK384 and arrived in Hong Kong. No N501Y and L452R variant viruses were detected in his body.
