17th August 2022 – (Hong Kong) A primary school female student was splashed with orange liquid outside the entrance of TWGHs Tsoi Wing Sing Primary School in Tai Wai, Sha Tin on 22nd October last year. The police arrested three men suspected of being involved in the incident and charged them with common assault and causing grievous bodily harm with intent. The three men were tried in the district court earlier, and a judge today (4th) convicted each of them with one count of common assault.
The three were sentenced to three months in prison respectively today (17th). The judge said that the victim of this case was an unarmed child who should have no worries and should not have been threatened.
