18th March 2023 – (Hong Kong) On the 15th of Wednesday, a grim discovery was made at the Best Western Plus Hotel located in Tsim Sha Tsui. A man was found lifeless, prompting the authorities to investigate the matter. Upon closer examination, the case was found to involve suspected use of date rape drugs, a heinous crime that has no place in modern society.
A man surnamed Au (28 years old) and a male police officer surnamed Lok (31 years old) were subsequently arrested. The former was temporarily charged today (18th) with “administering drugs to facilitate illegal sexual activity”. The case will be heard at Kowloon City Magistrates’ Courts on Monday (20th). The latter has been suspended from duty and has been granted bail pending further investigation, and is required to report to the authorities in mid-April.
