24-year-old student jumps to his death at Leung King Estate


25th October 2021 – (Hong Kong) At around 8pm yesterday the police received a report from a security guard in Leung King Estate, Tuen Mun, stating that a man was found lying unconscious outside the shopping mall of the estate and suspected of falling from a height. Police officers arrived at the scene and found that the victim had fallen into a coma. He was then transferred to Tuen Mun Hospital by ambulance, but he was eventually certified dead.

After investigating at the scene, the police confirmed that the deceased was surnamed Yau (24 years old) and a suicide note was found.

His suicide was probably attributed to academic problems recently. The cause of death is to be determined after the autopsy.
