3rd October 2023 – (Hong Kong) A woman was assaulted and forcibly abducted from Fook Hong Street in Yuen Long yesterday night. The local authorities swiftly responded, leading to the arrest of six individuals in connection with the crime.
The victim, a 23-year-old woman, was assaulted in front of witnesses at approximately 11pm. Eyewitnesses reported the shocking incident, and the police immediately launched a search operation to locate the vehicle used in the abduction.
After a thorough investigation, the vehicle was intercepted near the Kai Leng Roundabout in Sheung Shui. Law enforcement officers swiftly apprehended five men and one woman, aged between 26 and 46 years old, who were inside the car. They were subsequently arrested on charges of false imprisonment.
During the assault and abduction, the victim sustained head injuries. She was promptly taken to the North District Hospital, where she received necessary medical attention and treatment.
