2nd June 2023 – (Hong Kong) On 17th May a KMB no. 63X double-decker bus travelling from Hung Hom to West Kowloon was disrupted when a young man exposed himself and began masturbating on the lower deck of the bus. The disturbing incident took place at the junction of Nathan Road and Man Ming Lane, and was witnessed by a female passenger who immediately attempted to stop the man’s inappropriate behaviour. She called on other male passengers to assist her in restraining the individual and alerting the authorities.
However, the man managed to escape to the upper deck of the bus where he proceeded to smash a window with a glass hammer before jumping out of the vehicle and fleeing on foot. The female passenger immediately reported the incident to the police who launched an investigation and conducted a search for the suspect.
After a thorough investigation, police arrested a 23-year-old male suspect who was found to be connected to the incident.
