24th November 2022 – (Hong Kong) The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) presents two major “winter gifts” to citizens and tourists this year, starting with the “Hong Kong WinterFest”. From 25th November to 1st January, 2023, it presents must-see Christmas hotspots at West Kowloon Art Park in the West Kowloon Cultural District. A giant Christmas tree over 20 meters high has been lit up at the promenade. The giant Christmas tree is glamorously decorated with garlands and ornaments; glittering with bright festive lights.

Dane Cheng, Executive Director of the HKTB, said that every winter, the whole of Hong Kong is full of Christmas and New Year celebrations. Large-scale sparkling and moving decorations can be seen everywhere, attracting tourists to come to Hong Kong to experience for themselves. The HKTB will present a special surprise during the Christmas period from 23rd to 27th December this year. It will set up a quirky Christmas village on the other side of the Art Park with 8 themed Christmas miniature houses, including the snow-covered Ice Kingdom and fantasy candy house, as well as the colourful Christmas children's play house.
