12th November 2021 – (Hong Kong) One year after returning to Hong Kong, the winner of 2020 Miss Hong Kong pageant Lisa Marie Tse Ga Ye appeared in various variety shows from time to time. Recently, she played a role in the local popular TVB drama “Come Home Love: Lo and Behold” and she had to work hard to learn Cantonese.

Lisa uploaded a short video on Tuesday (9th). Not only did Lisa appear without make-up, but she also spoke Cantonese fluently almost 80% of the time. Lisa shared the differences between Scotland and Hong Kong in the video. She revealed that she is currently living in a village house. After returning to Hong Kong for a year, she is still not used to living in a small apartment. “You can’t have a garden and a balcony. It is so hard.” She confessed that she likes the fast pace of life in Hong Kong. The environment is convenient. “In the UK/Scotland, I live in a suburban area, so the nearest McDonald’s is about 25 minutes away by driving. We have to wait at least an hour for a bus.” She revealed that she didn’t know she had to pay electricity bill by herself when she first arrived in Hong Kong because in U.K., electricity bills are deducted automatically from her bank account via standing order. “I don’t know how to do it by myself, so I asked my cousin sister to teach me to do it.”

Lisa Marie Tse Ga Ye was born on 26th August, 1995. Her father is from Hong Kong while her mother is Scottish. She was born in Scotland and she graduated from the Edinburgh Napier University in 2019.
