7th August 2022 – (Hong Kong) A female student surnamed Lo (20 years old) studying at the University of Hong Kong hanged herself with a towel in a unit of HKU Wei Lun Hall on Sassoon Road, Sandy Bay. The firefighters arrived at the scene after receiving the report and released the female victim. Unfortunately, after examination, it was confirmed that she was dead on the spot. According to the news at the scene, Lo had been dead for a period of time. The police seized a suicide note at the scene and are following up on the reason for her suicide. The cause of death is to be determined by the autopsy.
