20 mainland Chinese women suspected to be prostitutes arrested in Tsuen Wan

17th June 2024 – (Hong Kong) Police officers in the Tsuen Wan district, along with personnel from the Immigration Department, conducted an anti-vice operation today (17th) based on intelligence and in-depth investigations. A total of 20 mainland Chinese women suspected to be prostitutes, aged between 26 and 55, were arrested on suspicion of “breaching the conditions of stay.” All arrested individuals are currently being detained for further investigation and will be handed over to the Immigration Department for follow-up procedures.
