9th February 2023 – (Hong Kong) A 17-year-old Filipino girl holding a Hong Kong ID card reported to police on Tuesday (7th) that she was attacked by several girls in a parking lot in Tsui Ping (South) Estate, Kwun Tong. The victim had bruises on her face, waist and upper arm, and she went to United Christian Hospital for medical treatment on her own.
After investigation by police, two 17- and 18-year-old Filipino women were arrested in Yau Ma Tei and Kowloon City yesterday (8th) on suspicion of “assault causing actual bodily harm”. They all hold Hong Kong ID cards and have been released on bail pending investigation and must report to police station in early March. The operation is still ongoing and further arrests cannot be ruled out.
