2nd October 2023 – (Hong Kong) At 3.23am today, a security guard at Central Park Towers, located at 2 Tin Yan Road, Tin Shui Wai, made a distress call reporting a loud noise followed by the discovery of a man lying motionless on a platform. It is suspected that the man fell from a height. Rescue personnel arrived at the scene and, upon examination, confirmed the man’s death. The victim, identified as Ng (52 years old), is believed to have fallen from the rooftop of the building. No suicide note was found at the scene, and authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the fall.
Meanwhile, at 9.38pm yesterday, a man fell from Choi Sing House, located at 18 Choi Ha Road, Ngau Tau Kok. He was found lying in a location opposite the building by a passerby who promptly reported the incident.
Rescue personnel arrived at the scene and, after examination, confirmed the death of a 39-year-old man surnamed Chao. Preliminary investigations by law enforcement suggest that the victim fell from a unit within the mentioned address. No suicide note was discovered at the scene, and the exact cause of death is pending confirmation after a post-mortem examination. According to reports, the victim’s fall resulted in a collision with a concrete canopy, causing him to be fatally separated into two pieces.
