2-month-old infant found unresponsive at Waterside Plaza in Tsuen Wan

22nd May 2024 – (Hong Kong)  At 6.23am this morning, emergency services were summoned to Waterside Plaza, located at 38 Wing Shun Street in Tsuen Wan. The caller reported that a 2-month-old baby boy residing at the address was found unconscious in his bed, displaying signs of foaming at the mouth. Ambulance personnel swiftly arrived at the scene and promptly transported the infant to Yan Chai Hospital for immediate medical intervention. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, the young child was unable to be revived, and his passing was confirmed. The exact cause of his untimely demise remains undetermined pending further investigation by the police. Sources revealed that the deceased infant was the firstborn of his parents and had been fed approximately two hours before the distressing incident occurred.
