4th February 2023 – (Hong Kong) At 1.18pm this afternoon (4th), a fire broke out in a unit in Shui Fai House, Tin Shui (II) Estate in Tin Shui Wai. The firefighters arrived at the scene after receiving the report and quickly extinguished the fire. A group of residents of the building were evacuated, and it is initially believed that no one was injured. According to on-site sources, objects in the room of the unit were burned, and the cause of the fire is yet to be investigated.
Meanwhile, at 12.07pm this afternoon (4th), a fire broke out at an apartment unit in Lee Hong House, Shun Lee Estate in Sau Mau Ping. The firefighters arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire. About 50 residents in the building evacuated on their own, including one man and one woman who felt unwell. The fire department is investigating the cause of the fire.
