7th February 2023 – (Hong Kong) At around 4pm today, police received a report from security guards at Yiu Yan House, Yiu On Estate, Ma On Shan, alleging that a teenager was found lying on the platform above. Officers arrived at the scene and the 15-year-old boy suffered a leg injury and was consciously taken to Prince of Wales Hospital for treatment. After preliminary investigation, the police believed that the victim was a resident of Yiu Yan House and fell from the corridor of the building. Investigators did not find a suicide note at the scene, and the case was classified as an attempted suicide.
